My first tour with friends! "A TOUR TO SRIMONGOL"

(I am writing the post at office, I am waiting for bhaias when they ready to go for the party held by TTBC. I am feeling boring. But now i am going to have a good time, remembering a sweet moment of my life.) Remembering about my 6th trimester of UIU. It was 1st week of December of the year 2010 as i can remember, I was sitting with Shahadat at our UIU Study. We had never planned about any tour that time. Suddenly, Shahadat asked me, "have you heard about to go Srimongol? Did Rima told you about it?" I said, "Not yet" Rima is now one of my most close friend, most dearest friend. I was really excited and forced Shahadat to agree to go there with Rima's family. Rima's elder sis Jhunu Apu's husband Kabir Bhaia was at Srimongol for job purpose. He is a Chemical Engineer at Savron Company, Bangladesh. I have managed my Dad and Mom, and for the first time they let me go alone with friends to somewhere. And we were getting preparation for the tour!! It was 24th December, though final exam was near, but no headache. Today, we are going to Srimongol by train. There were Rima, Tania (rima's younger sis), Jhunu Apu with her 2 picchis (Nusaiba, Rufaida), Runu Apu(Rima's Immediate elder one, newly married), and her hasbend Kamal Bhaia (DPHE), and our Singer friend Rifat and Islamic Univ friend Moury. They were waiting at Kamalapur Railway Station. Shahadat and I have joined them at 1:00pm at the station. We were very excited. Rima and her sisters started to take picture sitting on the rail lines. At the train, we took our sit, but Runu apu was very fade up at Cabin, because the window class was not clear, nothing was seen outside from there. She was so much upset about it. Seeing her sad, Kamal bhaia ran outside and called railway staffs to clean the glass specially for her wife. But when Kamal bhaia told Runu apu that the glass can't be clear, she almost cried out. Though the situation was full of sadness, it result to an interesting thing. Runu apu left the cabin, and we Polapan entered there and made the most enjoyable journey of our life. Shahadat enjoyed the whole journey lying on the upper bed of the cabin. In the mean time, Rufaida Nusaiba, and Runu apu also joined here, leaving the sits blank in the bogy. Whatever, my friends also enjoyed seeing my preparation for the winter cold protection. I had come with 2 jackets, 1 sweeters, glabs etc. We had Sandwitch and chips at the train. We reached Srimongol Railway Station at 10:00pm, Kabir bhaia was waiting for us. We got into Kabir bhaia's house, our dinner was ready. Within 12:30 we finished our dinner and Bhaias and apus went to get sleep. But, we? Started our very expected Fun Night... Lots of sayings, sharing stories, events, kidding and having games. We got sleep late night, about 3:30..:P We woke up early in the next morning, got ready and finished breakfast quickly, as the Micro Bus was waiting for us to have a day long trip to sylhet Mazars, and MadhabKunda. Jhunu Apu was little bit sad as Kabir bhaia was not attending us because of his office. It took about more than 3 hours to get in Sylhet. We went Shahjalal Mazar first. This is the first time I came here but I have heard about it from my very childhood from my mom. It was friday, thats why there was so much gathering. I feed the fishes, took photos of the birds. Took prayer and prayed to Allah for all. I have also visited the Mazaar though I have not liked the way people treated Mazar. Though it was not permitted, but we took some photos inside the Mazar area. We left the place for Shahporan Mazar.

Macroeconomics with Taslima Rahman. Another great experience with great course instructor.

What a student can expect from a teacher? I hope, the answer will be Good teaching with full participation of students. We had something more than this answer having a course Macroeconomics. If you never heard to say any BBA student that "Economics is the most interesting subject in BBA", come to me and my friends, we are here to say the speech.

We did the Macroeconomics course in the 6th semester. Our course instructor was very new. Basically I had the Microeconomics course with Amirul Islam Sir (AIC), and I was expecting to have Macroeconomics course with him. Seeing a new Mam for Macroeconomics at the first class, I became little bit sad, though my friends liked her from the very beginning. But, from the next class, I found that her teaching is very impressive. If I just give good attention in class, I never need to study at home. She became friendly with us soon. At the middle of the semester, me and my friends became her fan. Most of the time, we had talked about her teaching seeing that she made very every complex topic so easier to us that we could memorize bigger topics very easily.

Her name is Taslima Rahman. We like our mam so much. In that class, we were 11 friends from our group: Samir, Sonia, Shahadat, Rifat, Happy, Bithi, Nazia, Nusrat, Neha, Toha, and Me. We had a class party in our last class. We came with a sweet Cake. Taslima mam was so happy and enjoyed the time with us. She expressed her good feelings about us. We thought that we like her so much, she made us know that she also liked her students of the class. She enjoyed the whole semester teaching us.

We respect teachers. And when we see a teacher being so responsible to the students and work hard to make the students learned a great deal, he or she obviously deserve the superior respect from students.

After Kamrul Hasan sir in Basic English course, we found Taslima mam, another exceptional faculty, who wants to get closer to the students, makes them friendly, always think to develop their skills and knowledge. I also want to say about Daisy mam, Shafiqul Alam sir, Nahin Mamun sir. I also found them so committed to students. We always respect these teachers from our heart.

UIU Boishakhi Utshob 1417

This is our Cultural Program organized by UIU Cultural Club. It held on 24th April 2010. Every year, our Cultural Club organize this kind of big New Year Celebration Ceremony.

The program was located on "Mariant Convention Center" at Science Lab. Almost 2500 students has came to celebrate this occasion.

I joined this program with my friends. Some of my friends has been participate in the program.

That was so enjoyable event.

The program had begun at 4.00pm and end at 9.30pm.

I am lucky

Arafat is such a wonderful human being that anyone wants to be associated with him.
He has a group of friends who are equally nice, warm, and friendly. As a teacher, I was a bit
reluctant to mingle with the little impish!!group of good-hearted students, but later on
they proved me wrong. They are the one in a million. The more words (adjectives) you use for them, the lesser praises are heaped upon them.
I am lucky indeed!
It is a nice opportunity to contribute here, and this is done, you guess correctly!yes, because
of Arafat.

1st Semester: "Introduction to Business". Faculty: Shayla Khanam

In my first semester, I had only two courses provided from BBA authority. One of them was Basic English, and the teacher was Kamrul Hasan sir as I said before. The another one was “Introduction to Business” and my teacher was Shayla Khanam. She is a lecturer of BBA. We had 2 classes of the said course in a week (Sunday and Tuesday). Shayla mam was a nice teacher. She always made the class interesting and the study realistic. She always tried to increase our work ability through giving assignments, group work, case analysis etc. Most of the time, I made her busy to teach me. I regularly met her in counseling hours, especially before exams. And finally I have got grade-A in this subject. Sabrina and Raj, from our section, have also got grade-A.

We had a group presentation in that course and in my group I was the group leader. Our presentation was the best presentation as my friends said. In my group, my other friends were Shahadat, Fahad, Ridhwan and Reza. Reza gave me lots of support to make that presentation successful. In that section I had some close friends like my group members, including Sabrina, Shamima, Rifat, Ovi, Moushumi, Nusrat Toha. Without Shamima, the rest of my friends were common in Basic English Class.

These are some of the memories of my Introduction to Business course. As I was from science back ground, it was my first course of Business Studies and I really enjoyed it so much.

Memories with Kamrul sir

At the very beginning of sharing my university memories, I want to introduce my most close, lovely and respected teacher Md. Kamrul Hasan.
Kamrul sir was my teacher in Basic English course. He is one of my favorite personalities. He is a real friend of the students.
His teaching ability and technique are exceptional and brilliant. I found him a very special teacher in English. He always thinks about student's improvement and always tries to make study enjoyable to his students.
How much I say, I really can't express all pleasure, ecstasy I feel of him.
We had many nice memories with Kamrul sir. We had lots of fun in classes.We had taken lots of photos with Kamrul sir in many occasions.
At the end of our course, just before final exam, we had a lunch party with Kamrul sir at Boomers, Dhanmndi. That was a nice day and my first lunch party with my university students.
All these memories with Kamrul sir can not be erased from mind. We may be not doing any more course with Kamrul sir, but he is always with us as a guardian in University Campus.
